Alpha Industries, LLC takes appropriate steps to keep our employees and job sites healthy, substance abuse free, further expanding our safety horizon to actions off the job that could potentially conflict with a sound work environment. All new hire employees are subject to substance screening as well as random screens throughout their employment period. Supervising personnel are knowledgeable in recognizing any symptoms or actions consistent with substance abuse impairment and the appropriate corrective actions.
Alpha provides MSDS documentation for any chemicals necessary on any job upon request. Our employees and customers reserve the right to be knowledgeable of any and all materials used while on the job site. We also promote knowledge of a healthy diet consistent with an exercise program thus allowing our employees to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent on-site muscular strains, pulls, or other injury.
Ensuring the safety of our employees and customers helps us to continue our high quality standards throughout every action on every job. Our safety programs are designed to go beyond industry designated standards and keep individual safe and injury free. We enourage our employees to be ever vigilant and to exercise their "stop work" authority should they ever feel unsafe or unsure about a situation on the job.
At Alpha we also use a company established rewards program for each quarter. Near miss reports are turned in and
evaluated. JSAs reviewed, and job sites are audited each quarter. Employee bonuses and awards are distributed
based upon compliance, participation, and awareness.
